My AWC closes down each time I insert a smiley. I have to reload the page to start AWC again.

I've noticed that as well. This is happening only with explorer. There is no problem with Chrome or Firefox.
If you type the smile code directly on the chat message box, there is no problem.

That's interesting because I am using Firefox.

Yes, if you enter the smiley code then it works.

Thank you for letting me know this issue. There is another issue where people say not all there smilies are available, so in the next version I hope to make a few changes to the smiley system which will hopefully fix these issues.

I've had this problem before but I think it's because there were too many smilies. I moved some of my smilies and it didn't happen anymore. Let me know if that helped.

Won't that remove the amount of smilies available elsewhere on my forum, too? If so, that is not an option.

Ah, but then my users would have to change category to find some of the smilies they regularly use?

My manager on my site has said he's been having this problem as well. Not sure if it is related, but can everyone who has this issue please post the Browser they are using, as if they are related browsers will more than likely be connected in the sense. I have yet to have this problem and I use google chrome nearly 100%. FireFox for some dev fixes and what not.
I never use IE.

The people having problems, are you using FireFox? The only people I talk to who have this problem are using Firefox, please be the thirdwheel and say you aren't lol. Well actually it may be easier to narrow down the issue if it is just FireFox.

What's your forum version? This doesn't happen with any browser on my PunBB forum, although it did occur occasionally back during v1.5-v1.6 of AWC.
