[PLUG-IN] Member List Toggler

Ok so I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to do this, and now after some of the things I've done with LG I understand how to select inside AWC. And tonight while being bored I created this REALLY AWESOME feature for the AWC! What you ask, well clearly a Member List Toggler... What this does is, you can close the members list and have a full chat, easily open it back up. Also it takes great advantage of the animate function from jQuery. Drum Roll Please...

Is there a way to move this to the top where the other buttons are? Example: reading refresh and archives buttons. Up in that vicinity. I'm just wondering.

I copied and pasted the code exactly as is and it didn't work. Any ideas what could be wrong? I think it might have something to do with all the plug-ins I've added. Several of them for some reason just don't work.

Meaning one of them or multiples have issues, check your console for errors. CTRL+SHIFT+J or F12

What about for a Mac? I tried Command+Shift+J, Option+Shift+J, Control+Shift+J, and fn+shift+J. Also, where do you click these buttons? After selecting the javascript?

When I switched to the new code it gave me a SyntaxError: Parse error on console!

I need to see the code, as I know it works because I use it on AWC 1.8

I'm copying and pasting all of them exactly as they appear. I went back and started adding comments for each plug-in so I know what code does what.

Assuming I check the console right, it said "No Issues"

It's broken as-is for me as well.
I get this in the console:

Note in the console itself the caret is pointing directly to the '0' following the "marginLeft:".
I also tried it with multiple browsers just in case. Same results everywhere.

Anyway, I was able to get it working just fine by removing the 'px' after the '0' in both instances. Pretty simple fix. That sort of syntax doesn't really make sense in pure JS anyway.


P.S. Kingofsports: I can't be completely sure since I don't know what you're doing, but, mainly considering it's something you'd never used before, there's a chance I know what your problem with not being able to find anything in the console was. Most browsers' JS error consoles will only log things that happen after they've been opened. If you load a page and then open the console after the fact, it will always display nothing (unless there is active content on the page that is generating things continuously).

Yeah the 0px bit presumably should have been a string.

JavaScript errors should show in the console even before its opened. So they should be there when it is opened.

Like I said, different browsers implement their consoles [very] differently.

In fact, the only browser I've found to log messages from before the console was opened is Chrome (tested Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer as well).
