It's been a long time since I've used Forumotion but I've decided to go back to using

I remember that you made a system with a widget of the last likes in the topics and from what I could see, you used an external site in php as a database.

Forumotion does not allow the use of php and I liked to know the way you managed to find a way to do this using an external website and how you managed to do this widget.

Hi, I achieved it by creating a REST API in PHP on an external site.

Then using Javascript/AJAX on the Avacweb forum I could simply make a request to the external site where all the data would be provided to me in JSON format. Obviously to have that data I needed to have first created a like button on here that would send all necessary data to the external database.

Can you provide me with what you used to make this system? I wanted to learn a little more about it because it seems pretty complete.
