[PLUG-IN] AWC Theme Changer

With a little innovative thinking on my behalf, and LG's masterful scripting. I have finally completed the AWC Theme Changer! Let me first state thank you LG for putting up with my constant PM's about this. Next I am going to show you the code and what you are able to do with it ok. Also this button is select box is placed right before the Reading Button for easy access

You can use any of my Themes which is in another post, located here http://www.avacweb.com/t851-avacweb-chat-themes . You can take any theme you don't want in it out or add some more as I update the themes

EX:

This code also has a cookie setting so that when you change it remember which theme it is and every time you come back it will be that theme until changed or cookies are deleted!

Thank you Mr.EasyBB. I won't be able to update my themes. I've removed them because there was no need. I'll be looking into it as soon as I got 1.7 running.

Does this work as-is or am I supposed to do something to get it to work?

Because as-is, it just broke AWC altogether...sorry, my Jscript skills are nil. I know it's annoying, but when I read JavaScript I have pretty much no idea what's going on. I can read CSS and HTML fine but that's because they look cleaner to me. My math is god awful and when I see a bunch of symbols and numbers well...I lose myself completely. I can only think in letters and words really...

I just want all themes to be available.


Edit : Oh wait, it seems that the chatbox just isn't working at all anymore, without or without this plugin. I also see the chat here is dead...is this an issue with AWC?

Edit 2 : Nevermind, it looks like the problem was that I edited the Definitions Dictionary on my site and it broke everything. Now I'm wondering how to edit that dictionary properly. Anyway, thanks very much!

Didn't work on my phpBB3 board, neither on Rukiafan's punBB

I've added the plug-ins one by one to see what's causing the problems installing v1.7 and all the troubles I had lately. Everything is working just fine now, except for two plug-ins / additions that have been causing this:

The replace @ symbol plugin and the toggle sound on logon. I both removed them from JS and the theme changer popped up. Even Dion's Recent Topics can be in all pages now.

With Samantha gone, is this going to progress anymore? Is there anyone that can take over for the theme changer and keep making new themes?

I can try making more myself since I'm good with CSS but I'll need some time to think up of some.

Oh, I read this wrong then. I based my thinking that a lot of the themes were being made by her because of the second post, haha. I didn't find that thread yet.

where do I put this? it didn't work when I added it to the script.

ok I found where to put it but when I change the theme it goes to a broken theme and stays there.

The hosting company I used deleted the account saying it was inactive though I had 500+ views daily on this. Just another gimmick to make you pay do not use 000webhost.com! Very bad service.

AWC Themes will be updated as I go along today, I will be sending LG the themes so he can host them on his server. Also looking forward to a special addition to all themes, as well as maybe another theme or two. All themes will be minimized and compatible with the new AWC 1.8

For me the Black and White and the Dark theme work, however, when I try and return to the Original theme, my buttons are removed.. but when I go to a different theme they return. If I remove the plug in, the buttons return on the "original" theme. Help out, please?

Not sure how the themes work for you when they don't exist. I'm not home right now and will be later on. I just updated the original awc theme and will go.from there with different themes.

Okay, but yeah like I said, the Black & White and the Dark Theme work lol. Some minor bugs with css but they still work.

Same here lol, but anyways when will this feature fully return?

Well I have fixed the CSS issues and will be working on some tomorrow. I will be most likely working on the following CSS files give or take ok.

Classic Black
Aurora Blue
Flat Orange

Themes have been down, I won't be doing any theme updating as I am working on getting Tutorials and Plugins updated as well as the behind the scene stuff done.

If you still have the old CSS files, send em me and I'll stick em up on the chat server for people to use.
