I'd like to personally welcome you all to Avacweb, a Forumotion support forum where we aim to provide tutorials, support and discussion to help you improve your Forumotion forum.

Here at Avacweb we like to keep things calm and informal, there are no official rules here but we ask that you treat each other with respect and avoid using offensive language in messages.

I'd really like you to enjoy all the features Avacweb has to offer so you can gain some inspiration, therefore here's an overview of some features I'm really happy with here:

• First off you'll notice Avacwebs striking & colourful theme. You'll find some areas of the site even change colour and will look different each time you visit them. For example the user profile pages.
  
• Our SmartSearch feature will make finding what your'e looking for even easier. The SmartSearch is located on the right side of the navigation bar, and will display suggestions of topics and users as you type, press enter and you'll be shown even more options.
  
• Below the navigation bar on the homepage you'll find 4 handy widgets.
             - The first of which will display your most recent notifications, which you can manage directly from the homepage.
             - The second will show you where and when you have been thanked in your posts.
             - The third is a list of currently active topics, hover over for a brief overview of the topic.
             - The fourth is a small dashboard, where you can update your status that appears in your messages and find some useful links.
  
• Our unique homepage structure allows you to browse the forums and topics all from the homepage. Once you've found the right section, you can click the 'New Topic' button and jump right to the Post New Topic page for that section.
  
• At the bottom of the homepage you can see the coveted Top 10 Thanked Users. This really is a hall of fame for our members and an achievement to be displayed on that table.
  
• Notice that creepy crawly in the bottom left of your screen? That's our unique bug report feature which allows you to quickly report a bug from anywhere. Why not try it out? You don't have to report a bug to try it. Go on, go a little crazy.
  
• In the other corner we have our biggest product, the Avacweb Chat, commonly known as AWC throughout the site. We really hope you have the chance to try it out, because we think if you do, you'll want one of your own. Well here's some great news, you can get it for your own forum here: http://chat.avacweb.net/
  
• Moving on to the topic pages you'll find our beautifully designed posts. Staff members posts will display as red and soon a new post type will be entering the mix!
  
• Within our posts you'll notice our Thanks feature, you can thank users for helpful posts and they will surely be pleased.
  
• You can Quote a post into the quick reply editor without ever leaving the page. This allows you to quickly quote multiple posts.
  
• You can also Edit your post in the quick reply editor, making it so easy to fix those typing errors!
  
• Where permission allows, you can also delete your post without leaving the page!
  
• Now you will have noticed our awesome quick reply box. This thing is going to make life in the topics much easier. The point of a quick reply is to be quick right, and that's exactly what this is.
  - Your posts will be sent without leaving the page and will be nearly immediately displayed in the topic.
  - It also has the ability to show you a preview of your post before sending if you click 'Preview'.
  - Start typing an @ tag in the quick reply and you'll be shown username suggestions.
  - You can use it for inserting custom BBcodes we use here at Avacweb.
  - Oh and have you noticed it changes colour regularly?
